Baltimore City residents are invited to share thoughts on home and tiny houses as part of a research study starting in January 2020 called “Tiny Houses and the Black Experience in Baltimore.”
First community session will be held Thursday, January 9th at 6:30pm at Old Major in Pigtown in the Southwest Partnership, at 900 S Carey St, Baltimore, MD 21223.
Second session is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30pm at Function Coworking Community on Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street, at 4709 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21214.
Third session is Sunday, February 2nd at 1:30 pm at Clifton Mansion beside Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello at 2701 St Lo Dr, Baltimore, MD 21213.
The study explores:
- What are Black Baltimoreans’ attitudes to tiny houses?
- What is home?
- Is your home affordable?
- What really is or is not a tiny home?
