UMA is still getting started and will start by organizing weekend and seasonal games to create a safespace for our youth to play and have fun. As we grow, our seasonal calendar will feature tournaments, after-school fitness, and other social outings such as field trips, sporting events and alike. Our long-term goal is to fund stipends and scholarships for a path to college sports, especially for our LGBTQ+ Black youth.

Board of OfficersThe Leadership Team:
Mr. Olanrele Oni has an extensive background in human and social services, assisting low-income Marylanders to receive medical, food, and labor benefits to help families. He earned his BA in Political Science and a minor in Sociology with the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). In addition, he has a background in Conflict Management and Negotiations and has received a 40-hour certificate in Transformative Mediation Training. Naturally, he is a politics and diplomacy policy-wonk and a lover of all things debate. In the Baltimore community, he served as one of the coordinator for Baltimore Bike Party. In his free time, he enjoys playing & watching sports (and could use a tennis lesson from Serena Williams).
Mr. Justin Fair works in the public sector encouraging community development and affordable housing across the State of Maryland. He recently earned his Master’s in City and Regional Planning at Morgan State University for his research, "Tiny Houses and the Black Experience in Baltimore." He also serves in the community as a board member with MissionFit, a nonprofit that uses the power of training and exercise to empower Baltimore’s youth to achieve health, belonging and success. Justin is passionate and excited to combine his interests in community development, wellness and self-empowerment. Justin wears many hats, browse his website to see what he is up to.
